“Sleep is to all men what winding up is to a clock.” - Arthur Schopenhauer
In Rimini, during Hospitality Day, we had the pleasure of meeting several hoteliers and discussing topics close to our hearts: quality, comfort, and cleanliness.

Sleeping in an optimal environment is no small feat. Any accommodation facility must be able to meet its guests' needs in terms of hygiene and sleep quality, and the bedding system is a key element in evaluating the tourist experience.
During the meeting, we tried to answer a simple but important question: “How can we produce quality and comfort starting from the bed system?”
In this regard, Alessandro D'Andrea , national president of the ADA (Hotel Managers' Association), shared the importance of ensuring hygiene standards that allow for proper sanitization of textiles and ensure a quality night's sleep. The need for cleaning protocols for mattresses and mattress covers, as well as laundering guarantees , was discussed. Product certifications and linen quality are essential for a positive and satisfying tourist experience.
We at Orio Team can only agree with these considerations. Underestimating the role of the bed system and the importance of its cleanliness can be very risky for the hotel's image. Rest is an essential aspect of the hotel industry, and its value increases or decreases depending on the guarantees we commit to offering.
The proposals we presented in Rimini, and which we would like to share with you today, take into account the well-being of the guest . Comfort can only be ensured if all the components of the bed system are in perfect harmony with each other . When purchasing a bed, we must also consider all those elements that complete the product and contribute to customer satisfaction: mattress, mattress cover, pillow, cushion cover, and bed linen.

The choices we make always have consequences. And the consequences are positive if our choices are conscious.
Today, we are aware of the environmental impacts of industrial processes. For this reason, we have decided to monitor our environmental activities through ISO 14001 certification. We are also aware of the effects of chemicals in detergents and fabric softeners on health. Therefore, we have chosen to protect people's well-being through the independent OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100® testing system.
This awareness also comes through study and research. This is why we guarantee the microbiological quality of textile products thanks to the UNI EN 14065 standard , which is based on a system of risk analysis and biocontamination control. Last but not least, we hold ISO 9001 certification , an international quality standard applicable to companies that adopt a management model geared towards customer satisfaction.
Guarantees can make a difference , and it's crucial that guests are aware of this. They need to know that our choices are designed to enhance their stay and increase their satisfaction. They need to understand that the environment, hygiene, and health are at the heart of our work, both as hoteliers and as suppliers.
We are certain that the creation and sharing of common and regulated practices contributes to increasing the overall satisfaction of the stay experience and the
of those who work in this sector.
